Volume Flow Units
Volume flow is the volume of liquid or gas flowing through the cross section of the flow per unit time. Thus Q = V / t.
International System of Units (SI)
For the international system of units (SI), substituting the volume values in [m³] into the above formula, and the time in seconds [s], we get that the volume flow unit in SI is 1 m³ / s.
